The Stanford Social Innovation Review published an article by the Transform Finance team. The article summarizes some of the main points from our report, and lays out key guidelines for moving capital toward the most impactful types of Alternative Ownership Enterprises. It is critical to make distinctions between more and less impactful investments in this space because models are flexible in how much they share economic and governance rights with stakeholders, and impact varies with a variety of circumstances.Investors can leverage their voice as dealmakers and limited partners to increase the impact of their portfolio companies and funds by demanding more impactful terms and structures. We are supporting investors to do just that.
